The Four26's debut album, Broken Pieces, was released on June 1st! In addition to being available wherever you stream music (Spotify, Apple Music, etc..) it's also been released on vinyl! It's a LIMITED EDITION, pressed on a unique eco-mix of recycled vinyl and includes full color graphic liner note, song lyrics, and stunning artwork.

This album showcases Carucci and Davis' signature style blending harmonies, bending melodies, and delivering lyrics that make the dirt from life feel good on your hands. Their debut album features their backing band: Wilson Montouri on lead guitar, Dean Marchi on bass, Frank Picarazzi on drums, and Jon Cobert on keys.

Known for their live performances and their signature style of blending harmonies into one voice, Becki and Peter performed their new originals live at their shows - both as a duo and with their backing band. Full crowds dancing to the groover My Friend and bopping to Big Sky Joy meant it was time to record. Their debut album features their backing band: Wilson Montouri on lead guitar, Dean Marchi on bass, Jon Cobert on keys, and Frank Picarazzi on drums, with creative input from drummer and band member Jamie Baker. Recorded, mixed, and produced by Tracy Walton, Peter Carucci, and legendary sound engineer John Guth, the album Broken Pieces was then mastered specifically for vinyl and the highest quality digital sound by Alan Douches & West West Side Music (Fleetwood Mac, Aerosmith, My Chemical Romance, Run DMC, Hole, Yes, Train, etc.) It was important to The Four26 that the album sound as best as possible in every format and that fans could have a physical copy of their music, so they released a limited-edition pressing of Broken Pieces entirely on recycled vinyl. And they did all the album artwork themselves! From the liner notes to the album cover itself, Becki and Peter (mostly Becki!!) designed all of the graphic art you see, making each recycled vinyl copy into a unique, one-of-a-kind work of art. 

When a radio host (WRIP FM) asked Peter which songs might be the ‘hits’ on the album, he replied, “We just wanted to put out an album of songs we like and don’t want to be bound by any of that.” The result is an album ranging in depth from songs that tell a story like Nuevo Laredo to songs that close the emotional chapters of life, like Letter to Father. For example, Becki originally began Nuevo Laredo as a quirky homage to the storyline of the film Easy Rider (which she has never even seen! 😳) The song quickly evolved, and as the characters took on lives of their own and the imagery and plot became so vivid and real, the characters wind up taking you along with them on their journey and you're left wondering how everything works out. 

Becki and Peter would often sum up their debut album as a body of songs that teach you that “the dirt from life feels good on your hands.” Broken Pieces shows us that when everything falls apart, there’s an opportunity to find out who you really are. When the album was reviewed by Michael Hickins, he noted, “Whether it’s celebrating the power of love to get us through, or feeling the loneliness of the journey, the album is less “Broken Pieces” and more a mosaic of life that the band lets you piece back together, maybe with a little help from your friends.”
